A little more about your class:
I teach Student Teaching and Practicum.
The issue you’re addressing:
Student-teacher feedback.
Tell us a bit more about your teaching innovation:
In the past, I “told” students what they did and did not do well. I took up most of the “air time”. For the innovation, I would like to try a menu approach whereby the student teacher addresses a series of prompts related to their own teaching. The goal is for the student to become a reflective practitioner.
Your initial takeaways:
Very positive reviews from the student teachers.
